Paint is the only barrier between the whether and your siding. Frequent painting can extend the life of your siding. Especially: T1-11 and LP. These products are porous and when left open and exposed can soak up water. Heavy coats of paint can seal up the pours.

McBeth Inc.’s Painting process: Power wash home, (except windows and doors, they get washed by hand). Let home dry for 1 week minimum (weather variations change timing some). Then the prep crew comes in and scrapes, sands, caulks and primes were needed. Then the paint crew will follow shortly after. We generally use Miller paint; others can be used upon request. We apply 2 coats of paint. The first coat is back brushed; the second coat is spayed over the top. McBeth Inc. pays attention to detail, our goal is to get paint were its supposed to be, not on the trees, roof or sidewalk.
